Applied the sika flex to the canopy and frame. The canopy had previsously been "tacked on" to the frame by a small amount of sika flex to hold it in place while the main application of sika flex took place.
I ordered a fresh tube of UV250 sika flex, black, along with the 206 cleaner and 209 primer. I appled the products according to directions being very careful of the time frams. The cleaner is applied first. After 10 minutes the primer is applied. 30 minutes after the primer, the sika flex adhesive is applied.
This was the most messy procedure I think I have ever done. I have sika flex on my hands, face and glasses. But, the job is done and looks good.
I went to skycraft to buy and attach end fittings for the cables for ground and starter. I will have to redo one fitting because I got the wrong shape. I will also have to drill out the 1/4 holes to 5/16.
