Brief Description:  cowl fiberglass work and FAB

Formed the fiberglass air dam on the top cowl, one side, alongside the ramp on both sides of the ramp. Although I mixed the resin using the west pump method insuring that the mixture is correct, the resin was still wet and tacky a couple of hours later.

Located the hardware for the FAB bypass device but after reading on VAF about the past failures of that part I elected not to install it.

Drilled the spacer that fits below the Fuel Injection servo opening the 4 mounting holes from 1/4 to 17/67 so that the mounting bolts (1/4) will fit better. I could find only two bolts to use to mount the spacer and FAB since over one inch is added by the spacer the bolts provided with the kit are two short.

Looked for hardware to mount the FAB box to the top mounting plate. The plans call for K-1000 nutplates and AN4-a bolts. I spent a lot of time looking for #10 srews before I realized that the K-1000 takes teh AN4 instead.
