Brief Description: Installed 11 skybolt fasteners in top cowl
I drilled out the one skybolt receptacle that I had previously riveted onto the mounting flange and which had ended up crooked.
Dick Isherwood arrived as I was preparing to rivet the receptacle on again. It went on straight this time. We installed the male portion of the fastener on the cowl and put it in place. After adjusting the depth of the receptacle it fit nicely.
We installed a total of 11 of the fasteners on the top cowl before we became too tired to continue.
Also today I took my Garmin SL30 radio the the avionics shop on Humphries, a Garmin dealer, to have it returned to Garmin to be calibrated in accordance with a mandatory service bulletin.
