Brief Description:  trimmed the top

I came home from the office for lunch and spent a little over an hour trimming down the baffles, starting with the rear baffle. It was a lot of on-off-trim-repeat. After work I resumed the work and by the end of the build session I had finished the rear baffle all the way across as well as the rear side baffle on each side.

The side baffle is the most difficult because it is difficult to determine if it touches the cowl top. It is too far aft of the inlet to see well or touch, especially on the starboard side where the cylinder is more forward.

I spent a good deal of time researching on the VAF website (not logged) how the front side baffles interface with the top cowl. There are two methods, having the baffle trimmed less and fitting alongside the fiberglass ramp with you trim to fit the baffle.....or leave the ramp in its current shape and trim the baffle to fit the ramp. The second method makes the baffle much thinner in the front.

I think I will go with the thinner baffle and leave the ramp as it is.
