Martza and I installed the cowl halves and attached the hinges along the cowl split line. The hinges did not want to line up. We used a strap to hold the two halves together and inserted the pins. I had to use a drill motor to get the pins into the hinges.
Drilled and clecoed on the fiberglass ramps at the inlets.
Made a sample mounting strip and cowl piece which I attached with camlocks. It took a while to break the code on how the fasteners get installed.
Determined that the cowl halves are touching on the port side from the most forward rivet back about 12 rivets. I sanded the area.
