Brief Description: drilled hinges on cowl split top and at firewall l
Fitted the cowl till it looked good. Drilled on the hinges on the lower cowl at the firewall. Then, drilled on the top hinge at the cowl split.
Dick Isherwood stopped by to help. We first fitted the 1 in wide hinge to the top, just as we did on the bottom. It became apparant that it was better to use a narrower P3 hinge on the top. We put the P3 hinges on the top of the hinge already fastened to the bottom cowl, while the bottom cowl was in place. Then we put on the top cowl and drilled the hinge in place on the top cowl.
