Determined that the distance between mounting points necessary to have a constant distance and work around the various requirements for fixed points, is 3 1/8 inch. The center point of the airframe is of course, in the center and cannot move. The cowl line is at 26 inches from the center point. It also cannot be moved. The engine mount prevents a mounting point being between about 20 1/8 inches and 21 7/8 inches.
I am wondering if I will ever get past this point of the project.
