At votech I finished making the spacer to go between the FAB and the bottom of the fuel injection servo. I drilled the holes as carefully as possible to match the holes in the FAB mounting plate. I also made the anchor for the mixture and throttle cables that I will have to replace because the current one does not mount far enough forward.
When I returned home from votech Jeremy stopped by. He is in town for a frew days for his company, Kelly Aerospace. We fitted the spacer and the FAB and installed the cowl. Depending upon how the cowl will be fitted, higher or lower, the spacer seems to position the FAB opening very well.
We also tinkered with the fitting of the cowl but did not remove any material.
