Cooling ramp bottom rivets installed. I will have to remove one that was too short and replace it. The forward lip has not yet been riveted in place. It will be difficult with the engine mount in place. I removed the rudder pedals to access the rear of the firewall.
My air drill went toes up. I do not have an offset rivet set of the correct size to install the #3 rivets on the firewall side of the cooling ramp. It will also be difficult to drill the holes there in order to use pulled rivets.
I worked with the top cowl, trimming it to fit with the lower cowl generally. I installed the spinner back plate securely, using tie wraps, in order to have a reference point for the cowl fitting.
