Examined the plans and found that dwg 30A shows the location of the hole in the bulkhead forward of the throttle quadrant, through which the cables for throttle and mixture pass. I determined that the hole should be centered 1 1/4 in from the side skin of the fuselage and 1 1/4 below the top of the quadrant side panel.
What I have not yet determined is the size of the hole. 1 in would allow both cables to pass through. 3/4 inch might work, but I do not have a grommet that size to test it.
