Over the last 3 days spent a cumulative of 5.2 hours working on fitting and re-fitting the side weldments, the side skin and the rear canopy bulkhead. I know there were several earlier logs dealing with the same thing, but I just wasn't happy with the fit. I ended up buying some .032 locally, and re-making the canopy side skins. Van's sends them a little short (only if you are really anal, and want a good fit...) I made the new ones, fitted them, drilled the side weldments to the rear bulkhead, then drilled the new side skins on. Much better...
