I'm afraid I'll be on this same category for a looong time. The canopy framework is really going to be a challenge. I filed, sanded, bent and cajoled the front weldment/skin to try to get it to fit properly with the forward skin and canopy rails. I feel I'm learning where the problem areas are, and am trying to figure the best way to deal with them. One thought is to fabricate a new skin for the forward canopy frame, as I'm thinking the pre-drilled skin is adding some built in stress as it's cleco'd to the weldment. I can match drill the top 'flat' holes to a new skin, then clamp the hell out of it and back drill the offending holes toward the side of the structure. Just thinking out loud right now...
