Deb and I went to breakfast at Ocean City on Sunday. Left the airport at 8:20 am and arrived at Ocean City after about 40 minutes of air time. Door to Door was 51 minutes. We waited for about 20 minutes to be served but the line moved quickly. The Diner is standard fare and is on premise at the airport. We left Ocean City Airport at 10:24 am and arrived back at Doylestown in about the same amount of time en-route. The weather was smooth going down and a bit of chop coming back home. Overall statistics: Flight level: 3,000 Air time: 40 minutes True Airspeed: 130 Kts (150 MPH) Fuel burn avg: 7.0 GPH The Sun was brutal in the cabin while flying home and I ordered a Kruger sun shade for the canopy. Even with a hat you get dehydrated even on a relatively short 40 minute flight. I made a list of care pack items that evening for the airplane including an extra hat, sunglasses and water. Deb bought a pink cap at the Airport for the way home. The curves in the map were to stay clear of Phila International Class B airspace and Atlantic City Class C Airspace near Ocean City. The airport folks were helpful, calling wind speed and direction while I was on final and indicating where to park for breakfast.
