Sanded the LH wingtip, especially on the front there was alot of sanding needed to get a nice smooth finish. Then I laid out a screw pattern and pilot drilled the holes in the wingtip. Installed it in place and drilled through the wingtip pilot holes into the aluminium attachment strip.
