Holiday rush, Year-end work deadlines, family-wide flu, and other projects have kept me away from building. One of my Christmas Presents was 24 hours of uninterrupted, guilt-free time in the garage to re-start the airplane effort.
Today, Ii redid the left control stick pivot, completed the control column and torqued all bolts Spent a LOT of time trying to get rid of the binding being caused by the left column bearing. The column is about .03 out of round, so it has slop with the stick in the aft position, yet still binds when pushed forward. No similar problems or fixes on the forums, so I'll sleep on it and perhaps post a question.
Fitted the floorboards
epoxy primed the column mounting tabs where I had filed them level.
