Brief Description: Rudder - rib refitment and gluing
Prior to attached gussets, reviewed final 2 rib joints and found them to be weak. Suspect I used too much pressure and squeezed out epoxy to make joint unacceptable. Heated epoxy, removed joint, cleaned up rib ends and spar to remove epoxy, improved fitment and glued ribs again with lighter pressure holding joints together. Images show RH side trailing edge joints. Some squeeze but glue was joint was much improved after curing.
Final fitment and gluing of 2 remaining gussets for these joints tonight while varnishing v-stab.
