Brief Description: Rivet Ribs to Spars & Begin Skinning RH Wing
Riveted RH wing fore & aft ribs #1 thru #12 to RH main and rear spars. Bolted RH fore and aft root ribs to RH main and rear spars. Transferred wing to table and squared & levelled per Sonex Instruction No. SNX-W07-02. Starting with the top aft skin I aligned the pre punched skin holes with the pre punched rear spar holes and clecoed into place. I verified that the top aft skin fell into the correct postion along the span of the main spar before starting at rib #7 and working toward the main spar and inward & outward across the span of the RH wing I drilled pilot holes in the ribs keeping the pre punched skin holes in alignment with the blue sharpie lines that were previously marked down the center of each rib flange. Then I removed top aft skin from the ribs and deburred holes and reattached and updrilled the pilot holes in ribs #1 thru #12 only. The main and rear spars along with the root rib will be updrilled at a later stage. Turned wing over making sure to square and level again and followed the same process for the RH bottom aft skin.
