Floated Elevator Control Horn into the elevator halfs that I had attached to the Horizontal Stab, and at first I thought I had cut the elevator halfs too short, but then I could see where the leading edge of the control horn ribs were not sitting flush with the inside leading edge of the elevator halfs. Pulled control horn back out and bent the leading edge flange of the control horn ribs ( using a small rubber malet ) to the angle needed to achieve flushness with the inside leading edge of the elevator halfs. When I floated the control horn back into the elevator halfs I was very pleased to see that everything lined up very well, even the control horn arm was in its proper offset position in relationship to the Horizontal Stab. Centerline. Double checked alignment and drilled pilot holes. Updrilled and deburred pilot holes, then checked alignment once again and riveted control horn to elevator halfs.
