Today I finished drilling the overlap holes to the finished size of a #30 drill.
I also realized that I've been bitten by having too much time between work sessions. I had installed the 4th skin onto the skeleton but hadn't aligned it with the proper overlap and then called it a day. Well, there was over a week until the next time I worked on the Bearhawk and instead of finishing the alignment of the skin, I just traced the outline and removed it, trimmed and cut it. When I put it back on the skeleton, it was 3/8" too short. I had tried to make it work but I am definitely going to have to replace the skin. Big Fat BUMMER!
I've started making notes in a notebook about the next step to start with for my next work session. Hopefully, this won't happen again!
