Well, I didn't get any work done today but I've sure been running this issue through my head since Saturday. Driving home today, a thought came to mind...how about if I made a jig that matched the spar height at the end of the nose ribs. I could then put the nose rib into the jig and widen it at the end to match the spar using my handy-dandy rubber mallet. I think that this will be the best way to go about solving the problem. I'm not going to do it until I'm ready to skin the wings so I'll have some time to figure out the best way to make the jig.
WHEW! did I mention I love solving problems? just not ones caused by me that make more unnecessary work for me.
