Brief Description: Sanded and fit flap drive assembly.
Well, I talked via email to Mark Goldberg about the fit of the drive tube into the bearing, He said the bearing was probably out of round due to the welding and I should just sand the inside until it fit. I looked inside and noticed that there was some "slag" (they actually TIG weld and there's no slag) inside from the penetration. I took the dremel tool to the high spots inside the bearings and Voila! the drive tubes fit like a glove.
So I installed the root support and slid the tube in to the outer flap drive support and all is well. It fits and now can be drilled to the spars.
