Brief Description:  Leveling and head scratching

Today started out by leveling the right wing; making sure the 2x4s got rid of the sag in the middle of the spar adequately.

I then moved on to install the flap drive assembly and discovered a difference in the plans and the manual. Eric says to put a grease fitting in the bushing for the flap actuator arm so as to get grease in that junction. However, the plans make no mention of it and the wing steel parts that I purchased from Avipro have to fitting in them but are already primed with epoxy primer.

I shot an email of to Mark Goldberg and we'll see what he has to say. I then went to fit up the flap drive arm and the root support and the arm wouldn't fit into the bushing for the root support. So I began sanding the primer off. I'm not sure if this is standard proceedure; but it's definetly unpleasant. After 40 minutes of sanding, it still is too snug to fit properly. Tomorrow will bring more sanding...
