Brief Description: Fixed a problem and began clamping the drive arms.
Well, today I found a problem that I created when riveting the main spars together. I had riveted the #9 nose rib attach angle and spacers with regular rivets but when I went to clamp the flap drive linkage into place, the business end of the rivet was in the way!!!! I found no notations of this in the plans, newsletters, Russ's CD or Eric's manual!! Did I miss something here?!?!
Anyway, I drilled those rivets out and then countersunk into the aft spacer. Then riveted everything back together so that the drive linkage would sit flush against the spacer. Then I clamped the flap and aileron drive linkages to the left main spar.
