Brief Description:  Bending Attach Angles

Well, here's a couple pics of the highly modified brake for bending the attach angles and rib stiffeners. For starters, I drilled a holes through the aluminum hold plate to keep it from sliding back when bending. I also put a strip of .032 aluminum under it so I don't have to measure the depth each time I bend a new piece. Unlike the older brakes, this one is made of steel not aluminum. This posed a problem because the pieces of aluminum were being pitted and scratched by the steel base plate. To solve this, I taped (with blue tape) a piece of aluminum to the moving piece so it wouldn't scratch the piece that I'm bending. It now works pretty slick....after 3 hours of modifying it! Now on to bending those endless angles!
