I finally decided to go back and make new rudder pedal joints. They are now a fork and blade concept which I have machined from 4130 3/4" stock. The result is very strong and compact. I will remove the old joints and add these new joints. These will be much simpler to use in installing or removind the pedal assemblies from the aircraft. The bolt use is 1/4" diameter with a drilled head for safety wiring through the hole drilled in one side of the joint.
