Brief Description: Finishing the Second Rudder Pedal Assembly
The second assembly was cut apart. It then has its pilot end drilled .25" deeper to fit the end bearing and .25" cut off that end to move the pilots side pedal over .25" from the wheel well. Test fitting showed that the rudder actuating rod had to be moved back towards the passenger side .25". We cut off the actuator and jigged it up. I then welded it in the correct position. The pedal pad was made at this time. The unit now just needs final paint and assembly to install it in the aircraft.
