I cut the horizontal stabilizer skins back for the proper clearance with the elevator using a Dremel tool and cut off disk. Careful measurements and layout were done prior to the modification. The uderside edge of each skin was then beveled as necessary to fit the levator profile. Some minor filling and sanding was done on the elevator to finish the fit of these parts.
