Brief Description:  Begin Brake System Change

I am changing and completing the brake and rudder pedal system on the aircraft. Siers designed the brakes to only work with the hand brake between the seats. This would work, but I prefer differential braking. Hence, I am using a version shown on the Barracuda Builders Group at Yahoo to change the brakes. However, my finished version will have differential braking and use the brake lever between the seats for a parking brake. I will also be making a change to the right rudder pedals at the same time. I have all the original newletters on this aircraft from back in the 1970's. Jackie Yoder, now deceased, added swing away rudder pedals to the right seat to make the aircraft more comfortable for passengers. I am adding the same system to my aircraft. I started all of this some time ago with CAD work and the ording of parts laser cut from 4130 condition N steel. I started laying out the parts for the new brake pedals. They are every bit as good as anything you get in a kit form Vans or others.
