I installed some of the new parts for the changed tank vent sytem I am working on now. The old system I built followed the pland, but placed the vents in a position that bothered me relative to the exhaust. The new system will route them between the tank and the fuselage into the engine compartment and eventually into the box that will be constructed for the firewall mounted fuel components. This box will be blast cooled and hence a good location for the vents. This installation will also preclude any potential ingestion of water into the tank vents.
