Brief Description: Fit Engine Mount and Check Over Aircraft
We spent some time fitting the engine mount, rudder pedals and checking the plane over regarding its condition. I noted several skin repairs necessary at dammaged or incomplete points. The flap center bracket does not conform to Siers drawing change notice, further it is bent. There are missing double skin surrounds at rudder cable exit per drawings. The control sticks interfere with the instrument panel. The aileron control rod hits concil rib at 2 points see drawings for clearance when ready to change. The vertical stabilizer skin hits the rudder and the rudder pedal travel is too large per the drawings. The central rudder support is mssing as shown in the plans. The horizontal stabilizer skin hits the elevator and is too long per the drawings.
