The right tankwas comepletely mounted on the aircraft. It was then filled and checked for leaks. The rear top and bottom edges had slight leaks due to flexing when installing the tank. The tank was drained and then glued and screwed to the main spar, as well as, bolted. The minor leaks are in the area that must be filled with fiberglass to joint the tank completely to the wing. They will be repaired at that time. The tank holds approximately 25 gallons based on our filling it during the test. This is 3 gallons greater that the original Siers version. This job required 2 people to do and took all day.
