Brief Description: Adding Drink Holders and Door Handles
Months ago I designed drink holders and additional inetrior door handles for the the aircraft using CAD. These were then sent via the internet to a service company to make laser-cut copies. The parts came in recently. The drink holders came cut out and with some of the folds predone. The bending of the circle portion of the holder and welding of same had to be done by me here. I also had to bend the mounting ears to fit the angle of the door. The units were then painted and installed with stainless sheet metal screws. The small door handles were completely cut and bent to shape prior to arrival. They needed mearly to be painted and installed with stainless sheet metal screws. I will add wooden finish handles to them to match the main door latch handles.
