Brief Description:  Right Seat Door Work

I altered the fitting combination for the brake on this side of the aircraft. I spent considerable time assuring myself that the compression of the spring within this gear is at a different point that the pilot gear. Logically because the tail is currently supported not entirely level by a movable temporary support. However, absent the entire weight of the engine on the aircaft the support is necessary and alters the gear stance. THis will be checked when it is back on the gear. However, this problem pointed up the error of the current brake fitting combination in that it is possible under the right gear extension to have an interfierence problem with the lower door control mechanism. The change precludes the problem and will be applied to the opposite of the aircarft. Further, I shortened the hinge pin to its approximate finished length and adjusted the linkage to near best position. This may change relative to final fitting. However, the general fit around the edge was perfect. I intend to compensation for wing contour as necessary on the outer door.
