Brief Description: Core of Pilot Landing Gear Door
The landing gear doors are constructed with a frame of aircraft spruce and oak. The outside skins are aircraft grade plywood with the remainder of the door interior being end grain balsa. The balsa was cut into blocks and glued on all sides into the frame with T-88 epoxy. I also fit the door assembly to the gear at this point.
