I machined 3 custom stainless one piece uplock hook stops. The plans call for these to be made up of small pieces. The small pieces take less time, but they appear not to hold up as demonstraited in testing the gear mechanism on the aircraft. The solid stainless replacements appear to easily solve this problem. I installed them with locknuts.
