The plans and the builder who started this project include no way to check and service the rudder hinges. I consider this an unsafe condition. I have begun the process of cutting rudder access door points at each henge point. The finshed doors will be removeable and allow complete access to the rudder hinges. This will also allow the rudder to be removed for service and painting.
