Primed both aileron pushrods on the inside and W-917 (big aluminium one) also on the outside. Priming the inside of the tubes involved pouring the primer into the tube and swirling around. Doing that on the big aileron pushrods only with spraycans was not the way to go. Tried another primer, bought from the local supply a "Standox Reaktiv-Haftprimer" (Etching Adhesion Primer) with an activator and used that for the priming. Worked OK, but as this is supposed to be used with a spray gun, applying it via dipping the parts in the primer (small parts) or applying it with a brush (outside pushrod) leaves marks on the surface. Looks bad, but fulfills its purpose.
