Brief Description: Rivetted top elevator skin to right spar
Finished rivetting the left elevator reinforcement plate to the spar. Rivetted the root rib and elevator horn to the left elevator spar. Rivetted the right elevator top skin to the spar. Used a combination of squeezer and rivet gun to drive the rivets. To use the bucking bar, I used a jig to hold the elevator skin vertical and open. Worked OK. Rivetted the tip/counterbalance asssembly to the spar. Very difficult to set the inner rivets. Had to "split" the elevator open like a clamshell.
Next: Rivet the bottom skin of the right elevator to spar.
