Brief Description: Rivetted left HS ribs and forward spar
The enlarged rivet hole in the left inner nose rib (see 19.02.2011) was unable to hold a shop head formed from a AD-3 rivet. A lack of NAS1097 rivets led to the solution of fabricating a washer for the noserib. The effect of this repair on the structural capacity of the rib/skin joint was judged to be negligible.
Started on rivetting the left HS spar and ribs together.
Next: Rivet HS ribs to skin and finish with the rear spar to the HS.
