Brief Description: Deburred, dimpled and CS the VS
Deburred all holes in all components of the VS. Deburred the edges of the spars and skin. Dimpled the skin, spar flanges, spar web of the aft spar, rib flanges. Countersunk the lower holes in the spar doubler.
Managed to punch an "extra" hole during the dimpling with the pneumatic squeezer. The finger slipped. After consultation with our "in-house" tech counselor, decided to dimple the right hole (which is right next to the "extra" one) anyway. Drilled and deburred the extra hole. To compensate for the compromised strength, manufactured a doubler plate for the spar flange, covering the rivets next to the compromised one.
