A little setback today. Today was the first day to examine the BRS (ballistic parachute) system. It comes with a rocket and parachute plus a deployment handle that will attach to the rocket trigger. I was messing round and was examining the trigger. Its a spring loaded thing that when pulled enough it releases, springs apart and sends a hammer onto the rocket ignition cap. Yep, sitting at the dinner table I pulled it. It released and parts flug every where. What the hell. I bet I wasn’t suppose to do that. Lets check the manual. I look at the first page and in bold lettering it says “DO NOT PULL ON TRIGGER”. If you do, its ruined and another must be bought. I called Dennis and the only thing he said was, “Good thing the trigger wasn’t connected to the rocket”. He sent me a new one free of charge. Wow, really? Thanks Dennis.
The BRS system comes with its own manual. Very detailed. Would be hard to get the installation wrong.
