Brief Description: Line up old and new bottom skin for match drill
Starting with the bottom skin replacement. Here you can see I’ll match drill the new skin using the old as a template. The old skin is wrinkled but can be clamped down flat for the match drill process. The alternative is to drill the new skin from the inside of the fuselage outward through the new skin. This would be very difficult. Match drill using the old skin is the way to go here.
So, here I’m just lining up the 2 skins and clamping them to the table.
