Brief Description:  RV-7A put aside.

So, from the previous post, we see the airplane had ½ hour on airframe and engine. It was brand new with a brand new 0 time engine from AeroSport. Such a shame, and a bigger shame to not fix her up and give her another chance to fly. It is a very well built airplane. I'm so glad it was built with expert craftsmanship. The plane went to the insurance company where Jerry bought it. Jerry sold the instruments but other then that it's complete. Jerry also sent the engine out for service and spent $3,000.00 because of the prop strike. I saw pictures of the prop and I can say it was a very light prop strike. But not to worry. It has been checked out and has a bunch new parts. Jerry got the airplane intact but took it mostly apart in preparation for the fuselage repair. Jerry also included new tail feathers he picked up from seattle for $500.00. Jerry also included an engine mount. It was a brand new airplane that had a flip over on first flight. Ouch.

It will need fuselage repair. New canopy, but the canopy frame is ok, New nose gear and instruments.

These pictures show my RV-7A tucked away. What will become of it. Stay tuned.
