Brief Description: Evaluate fuselage top skin damage.
Time to move onto the forward top skin repair. Their was no damage to the skin during the crash. All the damage was done by the project owner (Jerry) before me. He drilled out all the rivets to remove the skin to get to the avionics. Just about every hole in the skin is now oversized. The holes underneath are OK. Plus it looks like he took a die grinder to the skin getting the old windshield off and in doing so put several holes in the skin. Here I put the old skin and instrument panel on just to see how it all lined up originally. I’ll replace the skin and the instrument panel.
