I cut the plywood strips down into 12 1/2" long pieces with the small miter saw. I then taped them together so they would not move whil cutting them on the band saw.
I built a jig to cut them perfectly perpendicular on the band saw.
You are unable to see it in the pictures, but there is a guide on the bottom of the jig that fits into the miter slide slot on the band saw.
The block on the left (with the clamp) is used as a stop block. All gussets cut to uniform length.
