As I started to think forward, I realized that I would need a long, big jig table to layout the wings and fuselage.
I ordered 4 – 11 7/8” x 16’ long floor I-joists from the local lumber supplier and went to work.
The Melamine sheets are not the standard 48” x 96”, bar are instead 49” x 97”, so the table construction had to allow for that. Plenty of backer boards and then I screwed it all together with 3 ½” deck screws. Really solid!!
