Brief Description: Up drilling/reaming holes for spar mating
I up drilled and reamed the alignment holes for mating the spars. I've decided to up drill the spar attach blocks up to their finished 3/8" diameter size while I have the spars on my work bench, instead of trying to do this while rigging the wings later on. I drilled/reamed the three alignment holes to 1/4". I made several alignment pins out of 1/4" precision drill stock and will use these to help align the spars together. I removed the wing attach blocks from the left spar and have up-drilled/reamed those to 3/8" and have re-attached them to the spar. I will use these blocks, along with other drill bushings, to drill through the aligned spars and into the wing attach blocks on the right spar.
