Now that the tail is done, I needed a way to store the pieces while I work on the rest of the plane. I decided to store the tail feathers in crate-like boxes hung and hinged from the ceiling. I just need to swing the boxes down when I need to get access to the tail parts. I designed the first box for the horizontal stabilizer and the elevator. I got most of the box framing done today. I still need to figure out how to hold the parts in place with some kind of brackets. I then need to get things mounted to the ceiling.
