Completed wing cradle in preparation for kit arrival. 4x4's are attached to each other by two 3/8" x 8" zinc coated lag bolts oriented to resist motion in the high stress direction. All bolts use 1.5" D fender washers. Wheels are 2.5" with brakes attached with 5/16" x 1.5" lag bolts. Would probably use large wheels if doing again. These are rated at about 100 lb each. The 16' 2x4's are to provide some protection for the wings and provide a broader surface for the carpet. 2x4's are attached to the 4x4's with one 5/16" x 4.5" lag bolt at each attach point. Carpet is attached with four 5/16" x 1.5" lag bolts at each of the 6 attach points. Time is a guess because log hadn't been started.
