Brief Description: Cleaned Scotchweld, Riveted and Primed
What a long day working on the plane!!!!!! I started the day off by cleaning up the scotchweld out of the dimples on the left elevator. I then backriveted all of the stiffeners on. I was having trouble with some of the rivets folding over. I used an oops rivet for the first time in my build.
I mixed up some epoxy primmer and shot both of the elevator skins. I was kinda windy out today so I shot the primmer in the garage, it wasnt too bad but I think I need to build a paint booth for this winter.
I finished off the day by building a break to bend the trailing edge.
